Review:I was really excited when I started reading The Replacement, because it seemed to have a pretty original storyline, with the Changelings and all that, and Maggie Stiefvater's blurb was really making me curious and eager to start. I'm glad to say it didn't disappoint.

Mackie Doyle is, indeed, one of the sweetest, strongest, most magnetic heroes I've met, as others put it, and I couldn't agree more. His relationship with Emma was also very good and warm and sweet and one of my favorite things.
Tate was a strange girl. She totally kicks ass but sometimes she is so unreasonable it pisses me off. I didn't get Roswell either. He just seemed to be along for the ride, you know?
The character I was surprised to like though, was the Morrighan. I couldn't not like her.

The writing was pretty good too, and easy to read. I would recommend it if you like fantasy and paranormal novels and that kind of thing.
