Review:This was a disappointment. A huge disappointment.
Where can I start? I'll start with the bad things.
Our dear heroine completely pissed me off. She was whiny, boring and a wuss. Really. I was so tired of her after the first 50 pages or so. Her attitudes almost made me pull my hair off, seriously. I'm not even going to tell you what she did, because we'd be here all day long.
And Damen. Are you kidding me? Why the hell couldn't they just be together? It was way too much drama.
Now, Damen is totally not like Edward. Because, you know, a guy who is over protective, that breaks into a girl's room and that is completely, inhumanly gorgeous, yet aloof and sometimes strangely bipolar is so not Edward-y Because a guy who says "I cant stay away from you" is not. Edward-y. At all.
Right...
The plot was predictable, and, not surprisingly, I was not surprised by what they are (the series is called The Immortals, do you want any more hints than that?). However, I did not dislike the writing and, even though Ever (who names their kid Ever, anyway?) doesn't like her psychic abilities, I thought they were pretty cool. I'd skip school, like some people in the story too! They were very underdeveloped, and that was a pity.
I would recommend this for Paranormal Romance lovers and...that's all.

LOL... I hear ya. This felt like a Twilight rip off to me, too. Ever's powers were kind of cool, but they weren't enough to make me like the book.
