It's time for another round of Hopping!!!
our first candidate is crazy-for-books's Book Blog Hop:
"When you read a book that you just can't get into, do you stick it out and keep reading or move to your next title?"
hmm, that's tricky. If the book shows potential, I may give it more time, but if after 1/3 of boredom, I move on. If I completely dislike it, then I move on. I do that very rarely though. I'm not going to waste my time (I don't have much to spend anyway) in unworthy things.

and our next candidate is...Follow Friday, hosted by Parajunkee!
hmm, this week I'd suggest The Sky is Everywhere because, for some reason I really want to re-read it. Maybe it's because of the beautiful writing. Nah, it's probably because of Joe; I absolutely love Joe ;)
(read my review here)
Have a great weekend and don't forget to leave your link so I can follow you back!!

Great suggestion! I love, love, love this book :)
Hi! Visiting (and following, now :) from the blog hop. If you'd like to return the favor, check me out at The Book Frog.
So, to answer the first question, I absolutely do not finish a book that doesn't capture my full attention...and it was incredibly liberating to me when I realized I didn't have to.
As for the Follow Friday question, I'm going to recommend the book that I just finished yesterday, A Field of Darkness by Cornelia Read. It's a first novel, crime fiction which she dubs "WASP Noir." Her narrator's voice is spot-on, it's interesting and smart, a little funny, a lot dark...really, just a brilliant first novel.
Hope you'll visit and check out some of my reviews (and maybe become a follower?...)

Blog Hopper here! I did it last week and fell in love with it! I remember once, I started to read a book and I just didn’t like it. A couple of years later, I picked it up again (yes, I forgot I’d read part of it). This time my tastes had changed and I absolutely Loved the book from the start to finish. So you never know. If you can’t get into it, put it aside for another time. I do.
Ummm, Follow Friday recommended read: Trouble in a Stetson by Regina Carlysle.
Followed you!
This is the second time I've seen this book recommended! I am really going to have to check it out!
Happy weekend!
Hop on by! :D
Hopping over to say hi!
The book looks interesting, I will have to check it out soon.

Have a nice day.
Just hoppin’ on by <3
I usually stick books out, even if it annoys me like crazy. I like giving fair chances to books, and I feel incomplete if I don’t finish it. I’ve even stuck it through an entire series I absolutely hated. Maybe it’s just me being weird.

Just hoppin' on by to say "Hi!"
I will stick with it and finish a book even if I don't like it. And if it's part of a series I will finish that too. I feel like I'm going to miss something incredible if I don't. LoL
Happy reading this weekend!

New follower too!
Happy Follow Friday!!! Hope you will stop by my blog too! My publisher and I are looking for a group of bloggers for a huge blog tour next year before the release of book two in my 'A Sense of Truth' series! We will be giving out a few more copies of The Thirteenth Chime (we can only give out so many, being open to e-books gives an upper hand) and are still open to all interviews and guest posts. We want to fill up the Amazon page with reviews and try to reach as many people as we can!!! Hope you might consider being a part of the team! Thank you either way!
Sincerely,
Emma Michaels
